The cave bears are huge brown bears that are about two times the size of
a grizzly. They are aggressive but most of the time stay hidden. There
are no leaders, instead they live on there own, roaming the valley
floor. There is a dominant male though, on that is the biggest and
strongest. They make dens in caves, hollow trees and such. They do
however meet in one clearing, surrounded by rocks, called the
ring, where they can rest and talk.
The Pool
The Pool is another meeting place.
Its is located and the base of a small cliff and is surrounded by rocks.
It is fed by a underground spring that releases cool and refreshing
water into the little alcove. This is a place where bears come to cool
down on a hot summer day. There is no fish in this pool but there is
some lush vegetation growing on the outside of the pool including
berries and grasses.
